Tara – A Country Inn was built in 1854 by Charles Koonce. It is an elegant Greek Revival-style mansion that reflects 19th-century extravagance but also features modern amenities of the 21st century. There are 27 luxury rooms and suites that include a romantic gas fireplace, jetted or soaking tub, and plush robes. To make your stay even more special, you can choose the spacious suites with additional amenities like a private porch area, views of the property’s garden, and an in-room dining table.

The grounds and the Inn are tastefully decorated with antiques and memorabilia. There are plenty of sitting areas, serene gardens, beautiful landscaping, gorgeous outdoor gazebo, and columned veranda. Other amenities of the property are indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, conference center, banquet room, and free breakfast.
