Mysterious Harry Packer Mansion Inn in Jim Thorpe in Pennsylvania

Harry Packer Mansion Inn was built in 1874. This house was used as the inspiration for Walt Disney World's "Haunted Mansion!"⁠ movie. The mansion has been incredibly well restored and taken care of. Now it looks like a building from a Gothic novel. ⁠⁠

There are six Victorian rooms in the main mansion, two suite lofts, and four luxurious deluxe rooms in the elegant Carriage House. The rooms are spacious, furnished with period antiques, luxurious fabrics, and carefully selected artwork. ⁠⁠Each room features a queen-sized bed, private bath, plush bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. Additional amenities in select rooms are sitting rooms, electric fireplaces, and whirlpool tubs.

The mansion has fifteen-foot ceilings, marble fireplaces, and gilded mirrors that reflect the elegance of the Victorian Age.
