Are you looking for memorable winter fun, a fabulous sleigh ride, and a unique off-the-grid cabin rental in the woods? You will get this unique experience and much more, while staying at Ma & Pa's in the village of Burton, Ohio.
Nestled in the mature woods, away from the busy city life, with a gas fireplace, fire pit, wrap-around deck, home amenities, and private hiking trails, this winter getaway will make your childhood dream come true!

Getaway Description
Ma & Pa's Cabin was originally built in the 1820s. It has one bedroom with two queen-size built-in bunk beds. The house can accommodate up to four people. It is very cozy and welcoming, the atmosphere is really peaceful and relaxing. You will find a gas fireplace, cedar log furniture, air conditioning, a spacious kitchen with a microwave, and necessary kitchen utensils. There is a wraparound deck with a BBQ grill and a fire pit for making S’mores and having friendly talks with the people you love.
There is also a lovely shop with cute items in a range of prices for the whole family.

Cost
The cost is $110 weekdays and $150 weekends for two-night stay.Why is it Great for a Winter Getaway?
For a magical winter adventure, Ma & Pa's hitches up the horses, and they take you to childhood.
The sleigh rides are available from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays from Dec. 1 through March 1.
All the sleigh rides are private and can fit as many as five people in one of the three available carriages. The ride lasts about 30 minutes. Beautiful horses will ride you through the magic woods and fields. When you are back to the cabin, you will get Ma's delicious cookies, hot chocolate, or maple coffee.
Book early because they fill up fast, especially during February.

When you are in the area, you should definitely visit some popular places of interest.
Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park is a small but picturesque park with spectacular rock formations, diverse plant life, and great areas for hiking and picnicking.
Swine Creek Reservation is located among Amish farms. There are 400 acres of beautiful grounds, six miles of amazing trails, a man-made pond, a picnic area, and such outdoor activities as beach volleyball, horseshoes, and tetherball.
Wine lovers will find numerous Amish wineries and restaurants.
