Getaway Description

Geneva-on-the-Lake provides its visitors a variety of attractions from 30 local wineries, 17 covered bridges, the Metroparks biking/hiking trails, Historic Ashtabula Harbor, and an entertainment strip with dining and shopping opportunities.⁠⁠

Visit Geneva State Park which rests on the beautiful natural shore of Lake Erie. It offers lots of bike/running/ walking trails, boating, kayaking, ziplining, fishing, swimming, and camping options. In winter you can enjoy cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.

Sandy Breakwater Beach is located right in the park.

Where To Stay

Guests of Geneva-on-the-Lake can stay at the campgrounds of Geneva State Park. There are 93 very large electric campsites available all year round. 19 of the sites are full-service and are available May through October. All of the restrooms are always clean. There is even a shower house with laundry and a camp store. 12 cabins that sit right on Lake Erie, kitchenette, 1-bedroom with hide-a-bed, and loft are also available.

Optionally, you can stay in the Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake. It offers a variety of accommodations from the main lodge to small cottages.
