Oglebay is a 1,700-acre year-round resort. Guests can stay in the main lodge or in one of 54 cottages, perfect for large families or several families that want to vacation together. ⁠⁠

Each room has comfortable beds, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, coffee maker, private bathroom, plush bathrobe, patio, and more.

The resort is great for a family getaway because it has many various activities and places to eat. Activities include four golf courses, mini-golf, fitness center, yoga classes, aerial challenge, pedal boating, miles of great walking and hiking trails, driving range, two museums, fishing, tennis, and even horse stables. ⁠⁠

⁠⁠There is also a spa, a huge outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and eight specialty shops. The Good Zoo has some amazing animals, including red panda, lemur, prairie dog, armadillo, sloth, and more. ⁠⁠

Winter activities include skiing and snowboarding. The Oglebay Winter Festival of Lights is a must-visit if you are in the area at the time! It is something special and magical!

There are multiple unique dining venues to choose from in the resort. Ihlenfeld Dining Room offers a superior dining experience and spectacular views of Schenk Lake. Glassworks Grill serves casual dining, Oglebay Garden Bistro offers gluten-free and vegetarian cuisine, and has Terrace Gardens overlooks.

The resort is very affordable. Most two-night weekends are under $300 with taxes and fees, but summer weekends sell out quickly.⁠⁠
