Getaway Description
The magical Chez' Tree Rest Treehouse is located on 17 acres of hardwood forest just outside of the town of Lafayette, NY. You can reach the treehouse walking on the suspension 60' cable bridge.
The treehouse is 150 square feet. Inside, every small detail is well thought out. There is one double bed, TV, a selection of books, a tiny bathroom, a mini-fridge, and a propane camp stove for cooking. You will get all the utensils, dishes, wine glasses, towels, running water, etc., to feel at home in this small cozy house.
Outside, there is a large, 320-square foot deck with a fire pit and ample seating, BBQ grill, hammock & amazing outdoor shower. You can enjoy the gentle sounds of nature and the stream, the little chipmunks running around, and even the flying squirrels. Make S’mores by the fire pit, and completely get away from the busy city life. Or, go hiking and explore the lush woods. Please, wear appropriate boots because the weather is unpredictable.
When the generator is turned on at night, there are rope lights all around. It makes the place even more charming and romantic.
