Cedar Point in Ohio is a great family destination with an amusement park, restaurants⁠, and a mile-long sandy beach. Beach activities include parasailing, jet skis, and lake cruises⁠. In addition visit Cedar Point Amusement Park and Cedar Point Shores Water park. Or enjoy a wine tour on the Boardwalk Cruisers. To access the beach, you need to either have admission to one of the above parks or to one of the Cedar point hotels (as a result the beach is not as crowded).

Getaway Description

Cedar Point Amusement Park and Cedar Point Shores Water park are located right on the beach. The territory of the amusement park is huge! There are a number of attractions, from small to super scary.

For those who are interested in visiting historical sites of the area, consider Eleutheros Cooke House and Garden.

You also can go for a wine tour on the Boardwalk Cruisers, a relaxing pedicab ride along the coast of Lake Erie. Or take a lake Erie excursion onboard a beautiful Jet Express Boat. You will see Lake Erie's finest islands, Kelleys Island and Put-in-Bay.
